With the release of Ajay Devgn’s upcoming movie, ‘Singham Again’, director Rohit Shetty will expand his Cop Universe with a few more A-list actors. The upcoming movie is supposedly Shetty’s largest undertaking, and the filmmaker is apparently doing everything in his power to ensure that it is a huge success. Shetty, one of Bollywood’s most well-known directors, has produced a number of blockbuster films. The director has launched his own Cop Universe in addition to his films, and he is just expanding it with further Bollywood A-list actors.

‘Sooryavanshi’, starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, was a box office blockbuster, thus everyone is looking forward to Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film with Ajay Devgn. He hinted that Ajay would return to the role of Bajirao Singham in the 2021 movie, while Jackie Shroff would play the main antagonist. Shetty is now planning to release ‘Singham Again’ in August of next year, according to a report.
A source with knowledge of the situation said, “‘Singham Again’ will go on floors by August this year and is slated to hit the big screen during the Independence Day 2024 weekend. Rohit plans to shoot the film at various locations in India and abroad, with big scale action scenes at real locations. The aim is to make the biggest cop film of India.” “‘Singham’ is Rohit’s favorite character and he plans to up the game with the new cop universe film,” the source added.
While Ajay Devgn stars in the ‘Singham’ series, the director intends to reunite the legendary trio of Ajay, Akshay, and Ranveer. The upcoming installment will also reportedly debut Deepika Padukone as a new officer. The source reported, “While Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar will make an extended appearance, it’s a cameo role for Deepika as a female cop. There is also a talk of one more addition of a young cop (not ‘Indian Police Force’) to the cop universe in ‘Singham Again’.” In order to play Singham’s wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan is reportedly going to reprise her role as Avni.

Ajay Devgn would devote all of his attention to ‘Singham Again’, which will take 100 to 115 days to shoot. According to reports, he will shortly finish his other tasks. Later this year, Ranveer and Akshay are anticipated to film for 20 days. The online series ‘Indian Police Force’, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Shilpa Shetty, is another project in the works of Rohit Shetty.
