Virat Kohli has reached Vrindavan with his wife Anushka Sharma after retiring from Test cricket. Both of them were seen going to Premananda Maharaj’s ashram. A video of both of them has emerged from the narrow streets.
India’s legendary batsman Virat Kohli visited Vrindavan with his wife Anushka Sharma on Tuesday, a day after retiring from Test cricket. There he took blessings from famous spiritual guru Premananda Maharaj. Kohli and Anushka are considered followers of Swami Premananda Maharaj and are often seen in Vrindavan. Kohli’s decision ended his 14-year-long and illustrious Test career, in which he faced many challenges as a batsman and captain and won praise for his performance around the world.

I have visited Vrindavan many times before
Let us tell you, Kohli has been to Vrindavan many times before with his wife and children. The last time Kohli visited Vrindavan, his son Akay was also with him, whose face was seen by the world for the first time. An eye on Kohli’s career
36-year-old Kohli played a total of 123 matches in his Test career and scored 9,230 runs in 210 innings at an average of 46.85. He scored 30 centuries and 31 half-centuries. In terms of runs, he is the fourth most successful batsman in Test cricket for India, ahead of him only by Sachin Tendulkar (15,921 runs), Rahul Dravid (13,265 runs) and Sunil Gavaskar (10,122 runs). Kohli made his Test debut against West Indies in June 2011. However, the start was not special, in the first tour he scored only 76 runs in five innings. But after that he proved himself with his determination and brilliant batting. His first Test century came in 2012 against Australia in Adelaide, where he scored 116 runs off 213 balls.

After Virat Kohli announced his retirement from Test cricket, his wife Anushka Sharma shared an emotional post on social media. She wrote with a picture of Virat, ‘The tears you never showed, the tears you shed alone, the tears you never showed…’ In this post, Anushka praised Virat’s struggle and dedication. She wrote that she always stood by Virat and understood his struggles. In the post, Anushka called Virat her ‘home’ and said that she is lucky to consider him her life partner.
