Varun Dhawan had recently flown down to Serbia to hop on to the last schedule of Citadel India. And while the actor has been hard at work there, he is also making time to have some fun. What makes it sweeter is that he is involving all his team mates, including co-star Samantha Ruth Prabhu, in it. And his latest photo dump from Serbia is a proof to that.
Taking to Instagram on Monday morning, Varun shared a series of pictures and videos from his time in Serbia. He made his director Krishna D.K. pose for the camera on chairs having ‘star’ and ‘producer’ written on them. The actor also posed with his other dircetor from the Raj and DK duo, Raja Nidimoru and co-stars Saqib Saleem and Kay Kay Menon.
He even looks quite dashing in a candid walking click on set. And it seems like he will soon be a pro archer too, considering his aim. But the best picture amongst them all have to be his candid click with Samantha at a restaurant. The duo is seen enjoying some blueberry cheesecake and the way Varun smiles at Samantha while she eats is just too adorable. With this dump, he even confirmed that Citadel India will have a release date of next year.
The acclaimed Russo Brothers have created the Citadel universe which will have instalments in different countries. The first instalment of this universe was released in April this year, starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden. It received mixed reviews but became one of the most watched show on Amazon Prime Video. It has already been renewed for a season 2.
As for Citadel India, it is being helmed by Raj and DK and will have a connection with the international Citadel version too. Varun is making his OTT debut with this show. Apart from this, Varun also has Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal releasing this October with Janhvi Kapoor. He has also announced returning in Dinesh Vijan’s horror universe with Bhediya 2.
