The wait is finally over as Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer Gadar 2 trailer is out now. The hype for the movie has been on peek since the announcement. Now, after a 22 year leap the sequel looks power-packed with the elements of family, love and patriotism. It’s not just the audience that felt a connection with the movie but also Sunny Deol has a special attachment. During the press conference of the Gadar 2 trailer launch, he bursted into tears.
Sunny Deol, along with Ameesha Patel, Utkarsh Sharma, and director Anil Sharma, graced the eagerly anticipated trailer launch event of Gadar 2 in Mumbai. During an interaction when Sunny was asked about the audience’s response to the trailer, he couldn’t contain his emotions, and tears streamed down his eyes. But, any tears of out of happiness is a good sign. The actor seemed overwhelmed by the loving response he received.
Sunny shared the Gadar 2 trailer and wrote, “Dropping an action-filled glimpse of Tara Singh with #ReelWalaTrailer. Ab Gadar machega. On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, presenting you with #Gadar2Trailer. Trailer is out now! #Gadar2 aa rahi hai bade parde par lagane iss Independence Day! Cinemas mein 11th August se.”
Reacting to the trailer, a fan commented, “Zabardast sunny paaji.. gazab trailer.” Another fan commented, “Hindustan jindabad.” “Is se badi film na koi thi na he na hogi. Mera Bharat mahan,” wrote a fan. Another one commented, “Sunny Sir ne dikha dia.. He is real hero when it comes to patriotism.. The era of early 2000’s is back.. Real Action.. and Goosebumps feeling waale dialogues.. जय हिंद.”
Previously the makers released two songs from the movie, Udd Jaa Kaale Kaava and Khairiyat which took us back to the time reliving the story of the characters and gave us a closer look into the story. Now, that the trailer is out we can expect the makers to treat us with more songs.
Directed by Anil Sharma, Gadar 2 also stars Utkarsh Sharma. scheduled to release in theatres on 11 August 2023. In addition, the movie will be clashing with the Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2.
