Sunny Deol recently delivered a terrific performance as Tara Singh in the sequel of Gadar. The Anil Sharma directorial has been winning hearts at the box office. For the uninitiated, Gadar 2 has crossed the Rs 500 crore mark at the box office. Sunny is enjoying the success of the film. Amid this, Sunny flew down to the US with father Dharmendra for his health treatment.
The actor will be reportedly staying in the US for around 15-20 days. India Today quoted a source saying, “Dharam (Dharmendra) sir is currently 87 years old and been having health issues, hence for further treatment, Sunny decided to take his father to USA. They will be staying in US for 15-20 days or as long as the treatment goes. There is nothing to worry about.”

Dharmendra last delivered a terrific performance in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The veteran actor played the role of Ranveer Singh’s grandfather in RARKPK. His chemistry with Shabana Azmi, who played Alia Bhatt’s character Rani Chatterjee’s grandmother, won fans’ hearts. Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani also starred Jaya Bachchan, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Churni Ganguly, Anjali Anand, and Kshitee Jog.
Coming back to Sunny Deol’s latest film Gadar 2, it also starred Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma. Since its release, Gadar 2, which is a sequel to Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, has been grabbing attention for multiple reasons. The film’s total collection stands at Rs 515.03 crores at the box office.
On the other hand, Sunny will be next seen in the sequel of Border. The actor is yet to share any details about the upcoming film.
