Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today on Friday. On the special day, Sonam Kapoor showered her parents with love. Sonam took to her Instagram and shared photos of her parents. The actress also penned a heartfelt note for them.

Sonam’s post received a lot of love. Shilpa Shetty dropped a comment saying, “Happpppyyyyy Anniversary @anilskapoor @kapoor.sunita Here’s to many more years of happiness and love.” Bhavana Pandey, Shanaya Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Maheep Kapoor among others too showered them with love.
On the other hand, Anil Kapoor shared unseen photos with wife Sunita and penned a heartfelt note for her. The actor wrote, “Happy 50 years of love to us Sunita! Here’s to being the leads in the most epic romance we could have ever imagined… A love story that began 50 years ago and will live on forever! I’ll never understand how you managed to remain sane through 39 years of marriage and 11 years of dating me! They should write ballads about your patience and devotion!”

Anil and Sunita tied the knot on 19th May, 1984. Their elder daughter Sonam is an actress, Rhea Kapoor is a film producer and their son Harshvarrdhan Kapoor is also an actor.
