The CBI has placed Sameer Wankhede in the dock and charged him with bribery. A chat between Shah Rukh Khan and Sameer Wankhede that was leaked is currently making the rounds. Aryan, the son of Shah Rukh Khan, spent almost 25 days in Mumbai’s Arthur Road Prison. Shah Rukh Khan is said to have asked Sameer Wankhede, the head of the NCB at the time, “to go soft on his son” in the conversation. The paperwork was sent to the Mumbai High Court by Sameer Wankhede.
Shah Rukh Khan’s conversation reads, “Please man I beg you, there is nothing from my side that is in vested interest.” He further added, “Please man, don’t make him pay for these *** and vested people. I beg you man please. It’s a larger thing my son and my family I swear play no part in it. I have even refrained from talking to anyone.”
Sameer Wankhede replied, “Dear Shahrukh it pains my heart too because of recent developments. No one is happy and from our side no one deliberately wants to put Aryan in trouble dear trust me on that. There are certain technicalities in the law. I have also assured you that I will not allow any rubbish person to spoil his case though they are trying a lot. I know where you are coming from emotionally, I would only want to tell you one thing here my dear, just have patience. This is going to be over soon.”
Shah Rukh Khan says, “Insha Allah. But I honestly feel you made the best effort in your official capacity and I did so too as a father. But sometimes our best is not good enough. Patience is paramount. Thank You. Love SRK”
He also added, “God bless you. I have to come personally whenever you say and give a hug to you. Let me please know whenever it’s convenient for you. Really, I have always had the highest regard for your uprightness and now it has increased manifolds. Big respect. Love SRK.”
Sameer Wankhede replied, “Sure deal will catch up. Let this get over soon.”
SRK says, “Yes, please help me in making it soon. Thanks.”
Some NCB officers have been accused of corruption by the CBI. They claim that Sameer Wankhede demanded a bribe of Rs 25 crores in exchange for not implicating Aryan Khan in the 2021 narcotics case. The agency asserts that they completed the Rs. 18 Crore contract. According to the agency, Wankhede has enormous properties that are more expensive than his legitimate sources of income.
