Recently, Sara Ali Khan paid a visit to the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain and prayed to Mahadev. She received harsh criticism because she is a Muslim for performing puja. The internet trolls mocked her for getting attention for doing this, and several criticised her for often going to Hindu temples. Before the premiere of her movie, ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’, Sara Ali Khan, who is aware of all this criticism, was requested to respond to the trolls who followed her during a recent visit to the Mahakaleshwar temple.Like every Hindu girl, Sara was seen presenting “Jal” to “Mahadev’s ling” while wearing a lovely pink saree and a bindi. Sara has inherited all of these traits from her mother, Amrita Singh.
Sara Ali Khan gives a damn about the trolling and, when questioned about it in a media interview, remarked that people can react whatever they want and that trolls should be disregarded. She went into great detail, saying, “I take my work very seriously. I work for people—for you. I would feel bad if you didn’t like my work, but my personal beliefs are my own. I will go to Ajmer Sharif with the same devotion with which I will go to Bangla Sahib or Mahakal. I will continue visiting. People can say whatever they want; I have no problem. You should like the energy of a place. I believe in energy”.
