Salman Khan is all set to reunite with Sajid Nadiadwala for Sikandar. Ever since the announcement the film has generated significant amount if buzz. Directed by A R Murugadoss, the film stars Rashmika Mandanna as female lead. While it went on floors in June, a new update regarding shoot schedule has surfaced. As per reports, Salman and Rashmika are shooting for a festive song sequence for Sikandar which is sung by Pritam.
The song, set against the backdrop of the slums of Dharavi, was filmed at Goregaon’s SRPF Ground on a specially constructed set. A source close to the film says to Midday, “The song features 200 background dancers and portrays the slum dwellers in a festive mood. Rashmika joined the crew on Thursday. Salman sports a unique look in the song, wearing a customized silver chain, earrings, a black vest, and a full-sleeved shirt paired with denim. Rashmika embraces a traditional look with a salwar kameez. Murugadoss has nearly completed the song’s shoot, and the team will shift focus to action sequences over the weekend”.
The report further reveals that if everything goes as per the plan, the Mumbai schedule will be extended till October. The unit will then head to Europe by the year-end to film two romantic tracks.
Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film stars Salman Khan, Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, Prateik Babbar, and Kajal Aggarwal in pivotal roles. It is set for release on Eid 2025.
