Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3 was released in theatres on 12th November. Despite being released on Diwali, which is considered as dullest day, the film emerged as the third biggest opener of 2023. Not only domestically, the actioner is also receiving rave response globally. Overwhelmed by the success of the movie, Salman Khan expressed immense gratitude towards fans.
In a statement, the actor shares he feels immense pride and how he manages to reinvent himself. He shared, “I have immense pride in being an action hero and I’m fortunate that people have loved me in this avatar in so many films. It feels great to taste success again and again with this genre because it is not an easy genre of cinema to please people with. You have to constantly reinvent and give audiences something new that they haven’t seen with each action film.”
Khan further added, “So, this appreciation feels like a hattrick of success for me. The success of these films are also very personal to me.”
So far, Tiger 3 has collected 188.25 crore nett in India & crossed 300 gross worldwide in just 5 days! With this collection, the movie created new records by emerging as the third biggest opener for 2023, followed by the highest Weekend grosser in Salman’s career. The movie also emerged as top 5 highest-grossing Bollywood movies of 2023.
Tiger 3 also stars Emraan Hashmi, Revathy, and Ridhi Dogra in pivotal roles. The flick also has cameos of Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan.
