The woman in the photo with Matthew Perry the day before his murder has been identified as Athena Crosby, a 25-year-old model and entertainment writer. Pictures of Perry and Crosby conversing at a round table appeared on the internet.
“I wasn’t going to speak about this, but what I will say is that I had the honour of knowing Matthew personally.”Athena Crosby said in addition to a photo of Perry on her Instagram Stories. “I am so devastated from his death but felt it was in poor taste to talk about it publicly as the attention should not be on me but rather on him and his legacy and he was an extremely private person and I always respected that in our friendship.”
“But indeed, we were friends, and I was one of the last people to speak to him and see him before he passed,” she stated.

Another tweet by the Venezuelan woman described how Perry felt at their lunch at the Hotel Bel-Air the day before he died. “I want to emphasise that Matthew was in extremely good spirits and talked to me enthusiastically about the things he had coming up in his life,” she said in an email. “He was so happy and vibrant.”
Crosby requested that his admirers not speculate about his demise. “Know that man was on a comeback and truly deserved more time on this earth,” she stated in an email. “Our entertainment industry has lost a true legend. RIP.”

About Matthew Perry’s Death:
Perry died on Saturday, October 28th, after an apparent drowning. He was discovered dead in his home’s hot tub in the Pacific Palisades area just after 4 p.m.
The autopsy was conducted, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office, but toxicology findings are still pending, according to the news site PEOPLE. The cause of death for Perry is now classified as “deferred” because it is “pending additional investigation.” No wrongdoing is suspected.
