Megastar Mammootty gave his fans a lovely gift on his 73rd birthday, by releasing the first-look poster of his upcoming film Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse, on social media.
It is directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, and is produced by Mammootty Kampany.
In the poster, Mammootty is seen wearing a hotel bathroom robe, with an open ladies’ purse on the floor. In the background, a carrom board is hung on the wall, with pictures of people and colourful sticky notes, stuck on it.

Menon and Mammootty have collaborated with each other earlier, too, with the two sharing screen in Deeno Dennis’s Bazooka. The film is set to hit the big screens this year, but the release date has not been announced.
In a career spanning over five decades, Mammootty has done over 400 films. And the three-time National Film Award-winning actor is showing no signs of slowing down. 2024 has seen three releases already – Abraham Ozler, Bramayugam and Turbo in Malayalam, and Yatra 2 in Telugu.
Bramayugam, released in February, got massive critical acclaim and was a box office hit, with a worldwide collection of over Rs 80 crore.
Along with upcoming films, Bazooka and Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse, Mammootty will team up with Fahadh Faasil, in an unnamed film, directed by Mahesh Narayanan, known for his award-winning film, Ariyippu.
