Nawazuddin Siddiqui, known for his acting prowess has come a long way since he entered the industry. From doing supporting roles to now becoming a leading actor, his journey and growth are one for the books. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Nawuddin Siddiqui opens up on how people’s perspectives have changed towards him for being brutally honest.
Talking about the cost of being honest, Nawazuddin Siddiqui says, “People think that I have got attitude. If one speaks being brutally honest, people start assuming that there’s a certain attitude which has developed. There are times when you are speaking the truth and even the opposite person is speaking the truth. That’s when one should have it within them to digest the fact that the person in front of them might also be true.”
He further explained why people should be honest, he stated, “If we have an environment around us where people are honest we will get to know certain details. There will be a better understanding of human tendencies, insecurities, mistakes and complexities. This is what enhances your knowledge. Honesty only allows you to grow your knowledge.”
The actor opened up about how lies would affect everything thing. Explaining his though he said, “If I start lying then there will be mediocrity. People won’t understand what’s right and what’s wrong and all the work would be affected. From acting to direction to interviews everything will be affected because there will be a border of lies around you. If there is a place where everyone is honest there will be no place for mediocrity.”
Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s latest song Yaar Ka Sataya Hua Hai by Bpraak and the Desi Melodies team just released a few days back. The song also features Shehnaaz Gill and it marks their first collaboration.
On the work front, Nawazuddin was last seen in Tiku Weds Sheru. The movie is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The actor has quite a lot of movies lined up like Adbhut, Haddi, Noorani Chehra, Bole Chudiyan and Sangeen.
