Actor R Madhavan, on July 14, attended the banquet dinner French President Emmanuel Macron hosted in honour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The dinner was hosted at the iconic Louvre Museum. The actor, who looked dapper in a suit, posted a selfie with President Macron and Prime Minister Modi.
The actor wrote on Instagram, “I was in complete awe at the dinner hosted by President Emmanuel Macron in honour of our Honorable, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at the Louvre, of both these world leaders, as they passionately described their vision for the future of these two great friendly nations.”
The actor, who received an IIFA for his directorial debut, ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ this year, wrote, “ President Macron eagerly took a selfie for us while our Honorable Prime Minister very graciously and sweetly stood up to be part of it.. a moment that will be forever etched in my mind for both the uniqueness and impact of that picture. Thank you President Macron and Modi Ji for the incredible lesson on grace and humility.”
He also gave a shoutout to the ISRO team for the launch of Chandrayaan 3. “Also 14th July 2023 also marked yet another fantastic and successful launch of Chandrayaan 3 with the unfailing Vikas engine built with the help of SEP France by Shri Nambi Narayanan. Praying also for the success of their important and incredible mission,” he wrote.
Also present at the dinner was Grammy-winning celebrity Ricky Kej, who also posted a selfie with both leaders. “Wow! Our Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, you constantly make all of us Indians proud! Attended the official dinner in honour of PM Modiji at the Louvre hosted by the suave & gracious President of France – Emmanuel Macron. The last leader hosted at the Lovre was Queen Elizabeth II in 1957!! A huge honour to be seated with the 2 world leaders and dine with them. The world is indeed in great hands,” he wrote.
