Digital influencer turned actress Kusha Kapila sent the internet into a frenzy on Monday as she announced separation with husband Zorawar Ahluwalia.The couple took to Instagram to share a note announcing that they have mutually decided to part ways.

The content creator posted a note that read, “Zorawar and I have mutually decided to part ways. This hasn’t been an easy decision by any measure but we know it’s the right one at this point in our lives. The love and life we have shared together continues to mean everything for us but sadly, what we seek currently for ourselves doesn’t align. We gave it our all, until we couldn’t anymore.”
It further read, “A relationship ending is heartbreaking and it’s been a tough ordeal for us and our families. Thankfully, we have had some time to process this, but what we shared and built together panned for over a decade. We still need a lot more time and healing to get to the next phase of our lives. Our current focus is to get through this period with love, respect and support towards each other. We will continue to co-parent the love of our lives, Maya. And continue to be each others cheerleaders and pillars of support.”
Kusha and Zorawar got married in 2017 after dating each other for a long time. She had revealed in an interview that they both met at a friend’s wedding. Zorawar showed interest in her and Kusha admitted that it was new to her as she was undergoing body image issues at the time. The two had quite a dreamy dating life before they decided to get hitched. They had a very low key wedding ceremony.
Kusha rose to fame as a content creator on Instagram and YouTube. Her videos on Delhi girls became an online rage. Slowly, as her popularity grew, she started appearing on screen as an actress too. She was a part of the anthology Ghost Stories in Karan Johar’s story. Kusha was also a part of Masaba Masaba 2 and this year’s release Selfiee. She has also hosted the third season of Comicstaan.
