The release of Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer SatyaPrem Ki Katha is just over a week away. And its this close to the release that the team had its first event to launch its latest song Sun Sajni. The promotional strategy for the film is quite different as the makers are taking it slow and steady. And during the song launch event, Kartik revealed why is it so.
When asked why there has been very less promotional activities for the film, Kartik insisted that it was a thought-out decision. He said, “I think it was a conscious decision taken for this film. We are going through a process where the marketing team and the film team decided that we will focus on content first. Slowly, by the last week, we will begin the promotional campaign. That’s what we are following now and this is the first event that we have done. So, this was well-thought of.”
The actor asserted that the same strategy might not work for every film. Thus, they modified their plans as per their film. He also revealed the reason of releasing all its assets at 11:11 AM. He informed, “SatyaPrem Ki Katha is a very pure film. 11:11 is make a wish moment, and we are launching all assets at that time to keep that purity. So, this was a conscious decision to change the marketing campaign as per the film and it seems to be working.“
The film also stars Supriya Pathak, Gajraj Rao and Shikha Talsania amongst others. Featuring Kartik and Kiara in the lead, it is directed by Sameer Vidwans and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film will hit the theatres on June 29, 2023.
