Kartik Aaryan underwent a massive physical transformation for his upcoming sports drama Chandu Champion. To get the physique right, the actor gave up on sugar for a year. But as the film’s shoot wrapped up on Wednesday, the actor got to have his cheat meal and tasted his favourite Rasmalai. This treat was given to him by director Kabir Khan.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Kartik Aaryan shared a video in which we can see director Kabir Khan feeding him rasmalai. Sharing a glimpse of the moment, Kartik wrote, “This RasMalai Tasted Like Victory ! Finally eating sugar after a year !! After more than a year of intense preparation and 8 months of day-n-night shoots across the globe, today we complete the shooting journey of #ChanduChampion. And it couldn’t have been sweeter than my fav, Rasmalai – from the Man himself who carved this challenging path for me… you have been a profound inspiration Sir! @kabirkhankk”
Chandu Champion is based on the real-life story of a sportsman and his spirit of never giving up. As per reports, Kabir Khan’s film is based on India’s first Paralympic gold medallist Murlikant Patekar. For the film, Kartik Aaryan had shot an intense 8-minute-long single-shot war scene The biographical drama also stars Bhuvan Arora, Palak Lalwani, and Adonis Kapsalis. The film is slated to release on 14th June.
