Deepika Padukone, who has her own skincare company, recently came under fire online after discussing her preferred no-makeup look in a social media video while wearing a lot of makeup. Regarding her professional endeavours, Deepika Padukone will shortly appear in the Hrithik Roshan film ‘Fighter’. In addition, the actress signed a contract to represent Louis Vuitton as their first Indian ambassador.
In an interview with the publication Allure, Deepika Padukone discussed her most recent video and how she is quite similar to the character of Piku from the same-named Shoojit Sircar film. The actress referred to, “I think a character that I’ve played that is very similar to the way I am in real life is probably Piku, just very natural. You could literally see the skin in the movie. In fact, I’d sit in the makeup chair for not more than 5 or 10 minutes.” While Deepika was talking about her makeup-free look, the internet users could not help but notice her oily makeup, which many did not like.
One social media user stated, “Itni foundation kon lgta hai.” as another mentioned, “What’s wrong with her makeup artist? Why she’s putting foundation which is not her skin color?” An individual added, “Deepika wearing too much highlighter all over her face and body. She looks wet that looks like she direct come from her bathroom.”
