Actors Akshay Kumar and Sunny Deol clashed at the box office on August 11 as their respective movies OMG 2 and Gadar 2 released on the same day. The movie is going at its own pace and is doing a phenomenal job at the box office. Apart from the box office clash, did you know that OMG 2 has a connection with Gadar 2? Yes, it seemed like Akshay was promoting Gadar 2 in his movie OMG 2 and it is too good.
Those who have not yet seen the movie, please go back and don’t read further. Well, in the movie, there was a scene where the Hera Pheri actor was seen singing Udd Jaa Kaale Kaawa song from Gadar. Akshay was singing with so much love and dedication that we couldn’t help but mention it. Udd Jaa Kaale Kaawa is one of the popular songs from Gadar’s album and him singing in the movie was quite interesting.
Not sure if that was intentional but we loved this unique touch. It only tells us how the makers are taking it sportingly. Despite the heavy clash, the makers of the Akshay starrer are not forgetting to spread the love.

The movie is doing well at the box office even though it is clashing with Gadar 2. OMG 2 collected Rs 5.58 crore and the week 1 total stands at Rs 85.05 crore at the domestic box office. Whereas the movie has hit the 100 cr mark globally already.
