Anil Kapoor is one such actor whose energy has been constant throughout his career spanning over 40 years. Currently, his show The Night Manager Season 2 has been receiving all praise from fans and critics alike. It also stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Sobhita Dhulipala and Tillotama Shome as the main characters. He will be seen gracing The Kapil Sharma Show along with his team. While on the show, Anil Kapoor made a fun comment about Akshay Kumar charging his fees for Kapil’s show.
Kapil is known for roasting his contestants and pulling their legs in the most blunt way possible. His audience and viewers love him for that. But, Anil proves that he is no less when it comes to giving funny comebacks. When Kapil mentioned that Anil came last to promote his movie Jugg Jug Jeeyo in 2022 it was the season finale.
Now when he has returned again it’s again for the season finale. Kapil bringing his humour and roast to the table said to Anil, “Aap finale ke shaukeen hain ya aapko dusron ka kaam bandh karane maza aata hai? (You like going to finales or you enjoy looking at people go out of work).” To which Anil gave the most savage comeback ever! He answered, “Akshay saab toh shuru karwate hai right? Woh paise lete hain main free karta hoon (Akshay Kumar comes at the start of the season. He takes money but I do it for free).” To which they all have a hearty laugh. After all, it’s Kapil his sense of humour is such that it keeps us wanting more of this playful banter.
Akshay and Anil have given us some of the most favourite movies in Bollywood. They starred together in movies like Humko Deewana Kar Gaye, Welcome and Tashan! If only our time is good, we will get to see them together in another comedy entertainer.
On the work front, the actor will next be seen in Animal alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna. The movie is slated to release on 1 December 2023. In addition, Anil Kapoor also has the movie Fighter starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone.
