Alia Bhatt is all set to impress her fans as the badass Satya in the upcoming action-thriller Jigra. The actress – who recently appeared on The Great Indian Kapil Show to promote the film, also opened up about RK being a father and the close bond he shared with their daughter.
In the most recent episode, host Kapil Sharma recalled Neetu Kapoor telling him that Ranbir’s eyes light up when Raha is in the room. Read on to know all Alia had to say about the bond the RKs share.
During the conversation, when Archana Puran Singh asked her if Ranbir Kapoor helps with changing Raha’s nappies, Alia Bhatt replied in the affirmative. Alongside that, the ‘Jigra’ actress also stated that her actor-husband has learnt a Malayalam lullaby for their daughter. She shared, “He does. Now, he even sings ‘Unni Vava Vo’. It is a lullaby. Our nurse has been singing it to Raha since she was an infant. It is in Malayalam. So when Raha wants to sleep, she says, ‘Mama, vavo, Papa, vavo,’ it’s her cue to go to sleep. Now, Ranbir has learnt how to sing Unni Vava Vo.”
During the same interaction, Alia Bhatt also opened up the close bond Ranbir Kapoor and Raha share. She said, “Ranbir and Raha’s relationship is one for the ages. There’s a friendship between them. He invents some random games with Raha. He’ll be like, ‘Do you want to go and touch the clothes in the cupboard?’ Raha will say ‘Yes’ and they go and have a sensory play with the clothes and shirts. He will tell her, ‘See, this is velvet. This is suede. This is cotton.’”
She continued, “And he will make that into a very serious thing. Though he’s very adventurous, he’s too creative. When you see them together, it’s very endearing and cute.’”
