At the press conference of Salman Khan-hosted show Bigg Boss 16 last year, it was revealed that Abdu Rozik will be a part of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. However, when Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan released in theatres (21st April), fans could not find Abdu anywhere. The Tajikistan singer’s fans were disappointed. In a recent interview, Abdu revealed for the first time the reason he was not seen in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
Here’s what Abdu has to say…
Speaking with IndianExpress, Abdu said, “I did shoot for the film but there were some scenes that did not come out as well as expected. They wanted me to reshoot the scenes and needed another four days. But I was already inside the Bigg Boss house, and as you’d know, you are not allowed to leave the show once you are in. This is why I could not complete the shoot and so my parts were edited out. I had definitely shot for the film. Inshallah, I will soon be back with Salman bhai again in another film.”
Abdu was one of the most talked-about contestants of Bigg Boss 16. The singer did not win Bigg Boss but won hearts of the audience. His equation with fellow contestants Shiv Thakare, MC Stan, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Sumbul Touqeer and Sajid Khan in the show always grabbed attention. Bigg Boss 16 is over; however, the Mandli continues to remain good friends.
On the other hand, Abdu also shared that he still shares a warm bond with actor Salman Khan. The singer revealed, “I am still in touch with him. He is my bada bhaijaan, while I am chota bhaijaan. We are in touch via calls and messages. It’s all good and I love him.”
