Wedding bells are ringing for Anurag Kashyap’s daughter Aaliyah Kashyap as she announced her engagement to fiancé Shane Gregoire. The couple have been together for a long time and have finally decided to take this next step. They made it official through an Instagram post on Saturday.

The youngster took to her Instagram to share a couple of pictures from her special proposal. With a perfect green background of nature, Aaliyah Kashyap is seen flaunting her engagement ring in the pic. In another one, Aaliyah and Shane are seen sharing a passionate kiss, sealing the deal officially.
Along with the pics, Aaliyah wrote, “soooooo THIS HAPPENED!!!!! to my best friend, my partner, my soulmate and now my FIANCÉ! you are the love of my life. thank you for showing me what real & unconditional love feels like. saying yes to you was the easiest thing i’ve ever done & i can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you, my love. I love you forever & always Fiancé (still can’t believe i get to call you that AAHHHH) (sic)”.
Anurag Kashyap reacted to the news dropping a ‘Congratulations’ on Aaliyah’s post. But being a proud and ecstatic father, he couldn’t help but feel emotional on his daughter growing up. He shared her post on his stories and wrote, “She is all grown up. So much so that she is now engaged. (sic)”.
In an earlier conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Anurag had spoken about his concerns for Aaliyah. He had said, “You know this is like her mental health worries me a lot, whenever she struggles with it but no I that that is the whole point of it is like her thing is like, ‘I have a tough time explaining to you that why am I happy with being on YouTube, Why I don’t need to have a career as per your definition, of what a career should be or, why did I drop out of college and all you need to be concerned about is whether I am happy or not. I’m happy yeah and I’m self-dependent,’ and that makes me feel proud.”
Last year on their 2 year anniversary, Shane had posted some loved up pics with Aaliyah online. There he had said, “Oh how I love you, and sincerely look forward to the day I put a ring on your finger.” Aaliyah had responded to it saying, “I love you sm wanna cry at this caption.” Almost a year later, Shane has finally fulfilled his dream.
