Sahibzada Farhan was the top scorer for Pakistan scoring 74 runs with the help of four fours and six sixes in 41 balls, while Mohammad Haris scored 41 runs with the help of four fours and two sixes in 25 balls.
Farhan and Haris dominated the Bangladesh bowlers during the second wicket partnership and made a quick 103-run partnership. But after this, both were out in quick succession. Opener Sam Ayub (four) was out for just 12 runs in the second over. Hasan batted till the end and returned to the pavilion after scoring an unbeaten 51 off 26 balls with the help of two fours and three sixes. Tanjim Hasan Sakib and Mahmud took two wickets each for Bangladesh, while Rishad Hussain took one wicket.
The Bangladesh team, which came out to chase, could only score runs in the over. No player for their team could cross the 40 mark. Tanjid Hasan, who came out to open, played an innings of 33 runs.
