Katrina Kaif is one of the top actresses of Bollywood. Over the years, she has been a part of several blockbuster movies like ‘Partner’, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Sooryavanshi’ etc. This year, she has been in the headlines for her return with the ‘Tiger’ franchise. Meanwhile, let’s take a look at some of the major flops of Katrina Kaif’s career.
Katrina Kaif Flop Movies:
1. Phone Bhoot (2022)
Before ‘Tiger 3’, Katrina was last seen in the supernatural comedy film ‘Phone Bhoot’. She featured alongside young actors Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi. 2. Thugs Of Hindostan (2018)
‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ was a highly anticipated movie of the year 2018. With an ensemble cast of Katrina Kaif, Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan and Fatima Sana Shaikh, hopes were quite high as it was released on Diwali. With Rs 300 crore as budget, it was one of the most expensive films of Bollywood. The film earned just enough to cover its cost and turned out to be one of the worst films of Aamir, Katrina and Amitabh’s career.
3. Jagga Jasoos (2017)
Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif’s chemistry was dearly loved in ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’ and ‘Rajneeti’. However, when they collaborated for fantasy film ‘Jagga Jasoos’, it failed to impress the audience. According to the reports, it was made with a budget of Rs 131 cr but raked only Rs 86 crore at the box office. Ranbir and Katrina never worked in any film together after that.
4. Fitoor (2016)
This 2016 film features Katrina Kaif alongside Aditya Roy Kapur and Tabu. The film received criticism for its screenplay. It reportedly earned just Rs 19 crore at the box office.
5. Boom (2003)
‘Boom’ was Katrina Kaif’s debut film and its failure led to a bumpy start to her career. It is a black comedy thriller film also featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Jackie Shroff and Gulshan Grover. You’ll be shocked to know that the film earned just Rs 1.20 cr at the box office and Katrina’s debut completely went unnoticed.
