Actress Minissha Lamba who last starred as the love interest of Arshad Warsi in Anand Kumar's Zilla Ghaziabad released in 2013 and later appeared in a TV show Tenali Rama is all set to make a comeback on the small screen. The actress will star in a key role which is touted to be similar to Meryl Streep's role Miranda Priestly from the Hollywood hit film The Devil Wears Prada in Colors upcoming show Internet 4G Love.
A source close to the project said, "The story is based in Delhi, but it will be shot at a Mumbai studio. Minissha plays the owner of a wedding planning company in Delhi, who is a perfectionist. She will be seen in a chic western look, and the team has been planning it in great detail. The team starts shooting next week and the show is expected to go on air by the month-end."
Meanwhile, Minissha Lamba has also bagged a role in television actor Shivin Narang's comeback show E Love which will air on Colors channel. The actress will be seen playing a glamorous and a modern working woman who is the owner of a Radio station where Shivin Narang will be seen playing the role of a Radio Jockey.
"We were very keen on casting Minissha for the part. She fits the bill perfectly. We have been in talks with her since long and are glad that the deal materialised,'' said another source close to the development. The shoot of the E Love is speculated to begin this week of July.
