Indian television's endevour to bring a transformation in the mindsets of the audience by producing progressive content has either been applauded or ridiculed for no consideration of social values. Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka's portrayal of the phenomenon of extra martial affair has stirred enough controversy while also being applauded for its bold content.
As reported recently about Drashti Dhami's exit from the show, the latest reports confirm about the entry of actor Kinshuk Mahajan in the show. For the uninitiated, Kinshuk was the first choice to play Kunal in the show; however, the role went to Shakti Arora eventually.
Now, being a part of the show, Kinshuk will be essaying a positive character of a businessman named Ishaan. Talking about the same, a source revealed to an entertainment portal, "The makers have gone ahead to work out an engrossing story that will now have Kunal (Shakti Arora) and Mauli (Aditi Sharma) fighting it against all odds to move on with their lives post the death of Nandini. At this juncture, the makers will introduce a new guy in the life of Aditi and that will be played by Kinshuk."
Confirming about the development, Kinshuk Mahajan said to a leading tabloid, "I was considered for the role, which ultimately went to Shakti, in the nascent stages. I guess he fitted the role better. It's quite surreal that I am back to being a part of the very show. As an actor, I feel fortunate to be associated with a good and unusual concept. The ratings can't be predetermined, but as an artiste, I can try my best to become a part of good projects."
When questioned him about facing any challenges for entering the show halfway, he said, "Well, I love challenges. What else would I look for as an actor? The character is strong and he will be introduced as Aditi's friend, and the two will eventually fall in love."
