According to recent reports from the reputed daily, Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain actress, Shilpa Shinde is now officially debarred from CINTAA. Shilpa was famously known for her role as Angoori Bhabhi in the comedy-drama television show, Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain. The Cine And TV Artistes' Association reports to the daily that they all together came down to this decision to boycott the actress from the association. At CINTAA's annual meeting, they unitingly came to a decision with the polls which were held weeks ago with the Executive Committee.
It all began after she accused the producer of Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain, Sanjay Kohli and pressed charges of sexual harassment after she quit the comedy drama. Sources addressed the leading daily that as the actress is now expelled from CINTAA, she won't be allowed to use any facilities that the association provides the members with. Television actor and general secretary-cum- spokesperson of CINTAA, Sushant Singh confirm this with the daily. "After the general body was apprised of the whole case and Shilpa was given a fair chance to present her side, the majority voted in favor of her expulsion." Sushant Singh continued by saying, that she did not adhere to the rules and regulations of the association and constantly engaged in defamatory activities against the executive committee members.These allegations have been swirling around the television industry when she started rebelling against the producer of Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain and said that she was harassed mentally as well as sexually. Not just that, she also said that the makers did not pay her dues and was tortured. "After being selected by the committee, I was expelled overnight. So, who is afraid of whom?," said Shilpa Shinde as per reports. Now it is a hard time who to believe, but the drama doesn't seem to end here.
